Imagine having a real, live remote control car! What would you guys do with it?

These guys decided to destroy it as quickly and as thouroughly as possible - and they caught it all on tape.

This Quiz - By Definition: A Vocabulary Quiz is the hardest quiz I've taken in a while! Wow.

7/10, though. I knew some, and got lucky on others. Whew!

Okay, I must be getting old. This afternoon, my wife and I were in Old Navy, and I stopped some hip youngster talking into a handset and asked for a pricecheck. "Wha?! I don't work here!"
I look again, and that kid has a slick looking Nextel in his hand. Damn. I'm loosing it.

But, I guess it was a good bet on Nextel's part. Wow. I thought it was a quick gimmick when it started; I thought it was useful when I saw it deployed by my work; I thought it was a pretentious fad when I saw people using it personally; and I thought it was revolutionary when I saw that Nextel rolled out it's nationwide push-to-talk (PTT) network.

Apparently, even the economists are taking note, now.

Of course, by now, it's too late to jump on that bandwagon, so, wait a few months and SELL SELL SELL!!

Can I help it? Advance Wars for the Game Boy Advance was so awesome, is it any wonder I'm excited about the sequel?

Heck, my GBA is the only game platform I own that gets any use, anymore. Go figure.

So who bites the bullet on the whole "Iraq is getting nuclear materials from Africa" thing? This is not a type of error a competent man makes, is it? I mean to say, a lie like that has to be deliberately acknowledged by someone before it makes the State of the Union Address, right?
I tend to think that the buck should stop at the President. It's his show. If CIA Director Tenet isn't competent, Pres. Bush should have fired him long ago. But, due to Tenet's long tenure as Director, and this is the first slip-up of this sort, I assume he's not incompetant.

But someone had to goof up, right? Where does the buck stop? The buck stops with Pres. Bush. I've supported him in the past, and I continue to support him, but this is his fault.

But, thankfully for Pres. Bush, Tenent has decided (or been convinced to) to take the bullet, Clint Eastwood fashion. Whether it's the right thing to do, or not, it saves Pres. Bush from further attacks.

But, heads must roll for this. If Tenet is competent, should his head be the one to roll? Or will it be one of his underlings? Hmm. It sure would be an "out with a bang" exit if Tenet hit the bricks like this. But will Pres. Bush sacrifice a trusted, honest, competant Director so that his reputation survives with one less battle scar?

Any way you slice it, I don't like it. Oh well.

Add this game to the list of games to ban in Australia. C'mon, now. It's bad enough the game industry is polluting our children with games like Grand Theft Auto 3, Mafia and Max Payne... now those insidious bastards are bringing this brand of mind poison to us, in the deceptive guise of "family entertainment".
When will the insanity stop?

This is what happens when you mix MIT with music... very, very interesting. I'm especially amazed at the possibilities of the Audiopad. I mean, seriously, I think this has the possibility to transform much of computing as we now know it. Everything as obvious as DJ'ing a party, to the way we play games, manipulate spreadsheets to the fundamental ways we use a keyboard and mouse. Unreal!

WOW!! It's ping-pong, Matrix style!!

I am not a geek!

Okay... maybe I am. But, I'm not too far off the mark. I grew up playing Space Invaders and Combat! with my Dad - who could blame me for falling in love with that experience? Good times...
